Program
The cost of higher education has become expensive over the years, which has resulted in more students requiring financial assistance in order to make their post-secondary schooling plans possible. That reach is even more unattainable for deaf students.

The objective of The Opeoluwa Sotonwa Foundation is to bridge this gap and make financial support available to deaf Nigerian students who need financial assistance to be able to complete their course of study.
The Opeoluwa Sotonwa Foundation is dedicated to providing varying levels of scholarships for deaf students in higher Institutions.

Application Requirements

Must be deaf or hard of hearing, as evidenced by an official medical report from an audiologist.

Must be a 200-level student in a degree-conferring higher institution based in Nigeria.

Must be indigent and in need of assistance.

Must be in good academic standing with at least a 2.5 GPA (Transcript must be attached).

Applicant may pursue any course of study.

The applicant must submit a two-page personal statement.
07
Successful applicants must be willing to pay it forward by acting as mentors and ambassadors for the Foundation.
